Aluminium
Aluminium is a metal frequently found in household utensils, packaging (such
as takeaway trays and cans), anti-perspirant deodorants and in the processing
of tea. It is a known neurotoxin (has a negative, toxic effect on the brain
and nervous system) and very poisonous. It has been linked to dementia and Alzheimer’s
after levels of it were found in the brain of patients diagnosed with the disorders.
