Glycol
A clear liquid that is widely used in conditioners, body lotions, skin creams,
deodorants and toothpaste as a humectant - helps the product retain moisture.
When used on the body it draws moisture to the outer layers giving the appearance
of glowing skin. Propylene glycol is also a main ingredient in industrial anti-freeze,
brake fluid and paint and is classed as a hazardous chemical that can cause
liver abnormalities, kidney damage, dermatitis and low concentration levels.
