Terms & Conditions :
General
No contract exists between the Customer and the Supplier
for the sale of any goods until the Supplier has received
& accepted an order with payment in full and the goods
are despatched.
Prices
The price payable shall be that displayed at the time
of ordering. We reserve the right to change prices at
any time without prior notice
Delivery
Payment by Credit Card or Debit Card is due at the time
of order.
Goods remain the property of The Green Emporium until
fully paid for.
We use Royal Mail and a courier to deliver our goods.
Charges in the UK are as follows –
£3.45 for orders up to £20.00
£5.25
for orders up to £50.00
£6.75 for orders up to £100.00
Free delivery on orders over £100 (except on Abaca Organic Mattresses).
Fragile products are sent by courier with a tracking system
in order to avoid breakages & parcels going missing
Packaging
All parcels are sent using re-cycled boxes/filling/envelopes
in order to cut down on waste and save our forests.
Estimated Delivery Times for Normal Stock
UK – products are dispatched usually within 3 working
days so please allow 5 – 7 days for delivery. The
Green Emporium is committed to providing an exceptional
service and under normal conditions all stock items will
be delivered as promised. Delays may at times be unavoidable
due to adverse weather, availability of stock, or other
conditions outside our control.
On some occasions, an item may be out of stock in which
case we will part-ship your order and inform you immediately.
However if the original delivery date cannot be met and
you would rather not wait for the goods then you will
be offered the option to cancel the order.
For orders within Europe please allow 7-10 working days.
International Orders
We are sorry to say that we are unable to take international
orders outside of Europe at this time.
Description of Goods
All goods are sold as described. However, due to natural
variation in some products, goods sold may not be exactly
as they are photographed such as colour/shade difference
and distinguishing marks are sometimes unavoidable.
All sizes given are approximate and photographic images
are for visual information only and are not to scale.
Exchanges & Refunds
Breakages, shortages or damages must be reported to us
within 3 working days of delivery.
We will offer to exchange any product for whatever reason
within 14 days of the buyer receiving their order. Goods
returned must be in the same condition as when they were
dispatched.
Refunds will only be given in the event of a product being
faulty and/or defective. This must be within 30 days of
delivery. Please note we cannot accept responsibility
for damage resulting from misuse and/or fair wear and
tear.
Returned Goods
Notification of damage of wrongly shipped goods or incompletely
shipped goods must be made within 7 days of delivery.
Any claim made outside of 7 days will not be accepted.
Unfortunately, postage costs will not be included in any
refund given as the company does not have it’s own
delivery service and relies upon the services of independent
external companies.
The buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying damage
to returned goods where such damage has, in the opinion
of the seller, been caused by the goods being inadequately
packaged by the buyer.
The seller's failure to insist upon strict adherence to
any of the terms and conditions with this contract shall
not be deemed a waiver of its rights within these terms
and conditions.
Legal Liability
The contracts from the sales of goods by The Green Emporium
shall be subject to and governed by English Law.
Liability of The Green Emporium shall in no circumstances
exceed the original value of the price charged for the
goods. The Green Emporium cannot accept liability for
injury or negative consequences of using the product it
sells.
Privacy & Data Protection
The Green Emporium will always respect the privacy of
its customers and keep all personal information to ourselves.
Your name, address, transactions and credit card details
are stored in strict adherence to the Data Protection
Act.
We use a secure server to encrypt and protect your credit
card details.
Under no circumstances would we pass on or sell any customer
information to outside companies.
Acceptance Of Terms
By placing an order with The Green Emporium you are agreeing
to be bound by our terms and conditions.
The Buyer will receive e-mail conformation of the order
and we will endeavour to despatch all orders within 3
working days. The goods will be delivered to the address
given when the order was placed and are at the Buyer’s
risk from the time of delivery.
If delivery cannot be made and it is under the Seller’s
control, the Seller will inform the Buyer as soon as possible
and refund or re-credit the relative amount.
All prices are in UK pounds. Shipping & Handling charges are not included
in the price, except for Abaca Organic mattresses.
Disclaimer
The Green Emporium have made all reasonable efforts to
ensure the information on this web site is accurate, complete
and current at the time of its inclusion, however they
accept no liability for any inaccuracies or omissions
in the website and reserve the right to make changes to
prices and information at any time without notice.
The Green Emporium is happy to provide products that improve
health but stress we are not qualified medical advisers
and recommend seeking professional medical help if you
think you have a health condition.
Any damages arising from the information contained in
the site or in relation to any of the products is not
the responsibility of the Seller.
